The Museum of Malaga is showing collections from the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Archaeology. This collection is comprised of more than 2,000 paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries and more than 15,000 archaeological artefacts covering a period from the 8th century BC to the Middle Ages.
This is the largest museum in Andalusia and the fifth largest in Spain. It is located in the historic Royal Customs Palace of Malaga, an 18th century neoclassical building inspired by Italian Renaissance palaces.
