The port of Málaga enjoys good connections with other cities thanks to the airport and the high speed train. Málaga and its port are well conected by road, train and air. The high speed train join Málaga to Córdoba, Seville, Madrid and Barcelona- among other big cities. Also, the Málaga-Costa del Sol International Airport is the most important one in Andalusia by volume of traffic and regular airlines at both domestic and international level. As regards road communications, Málaga is the backbone of the rest of Andalusia by way of the A-92 motorway and with Madrid by a-45 fork of the A-4.
