Málaga, Your Choice of Homeport
Málaga will be the homeport for several cruise lines in 2023. Over 9 cruise lines, including Norwegian Cruise Line and MSC Cruises, have announced their itineraries that will make Málaga shine.
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) will homeport in Málaga for the winter season 2022-2023 with the cruise ship Norwegian Sun. The company launched 10 to 14-day diverse itineraries to the Canary Islands with visits to Portugal, Spain, and Morocco.
A total of 12 calls from 29th November until 31st March, with around 9,600 pax embarking and disembarking in the port facilities.
The commitment by NCL for the Málaga Cruise Port is confirmed again. The cruise company relies on the advanced facilities of the cruise terminals and the port itself to operate their ships with all comfort and security guarantees.
MSC Cruises, the third largest cruise company in the world and market leader in Europe, reinforced its traditional presence in Malaga once again this summer and autumn, betting on the city as a homeport with a 10-night Western Mediterranean itinerary with the ship ‘MSC Orchestra’ and an 11-night Mediterranean itinerary with the ship ‘MSC Magnifica’.
Susana Gutierrez, General Manager of Malaga Cruise Port, commented: “Seeing the increase in homeport operations is a strong testament of Malaga’s capabilities and our teamwork with all local authorities. We will continue to offer the best service and guest experience to its visitors.
