Mein Schiff Relax Christening in Malaga Cruise Port to Feature Robbie Williams Concert

Malaga is set to host the christening ceremony of TUI Cruises’ newest cruise vessel, the Mein Schiff Relax, on April 9, 2025. To mark the occasion, the event will feature a special open-air concert by international star Robbie Williams, who has been named the cruise vessel’s “feel-good ambassador.” The christening ceremony will be unique, as it will involve not only the Mein Schiff Relax but also two sister cruise vessels, Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7, which will dock simultaneously in Málaga’s cruise port. Passengers from all three vessels, totaling approximately 15,000 guests, will have the opportunity to attend the christening event and enjoy the Robbie Williams concert. For those not traveling on these cruises, TUI Cruises has announced that around 2,000 tickets for the concert will be made available to the general public. Details regarding ticket sales will be shared on the official social media profiles of TUI, the Port of Málaga, and the city council. The Mein Schiff Relax is the first vessel in TUI Cruises’ innovative InTUItion class. Measuring 330 meters in length, it is the company’s largest cruise vessel to date and the first in its fleet to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). The cruise vessel boasts 14 restaurants and 17 bars, offering passengers a diverse culinary experience. Robbie Williams expressed his enthusiasm about the event, stating, “The concept of these cruise vessels, with all these wonderful places where you can relax and feel good, is something very special. I can’t wait to celebrate with all the guests at the christening.” Following the christening event, the Mein Schiff Relax will continue its inaugural voyage, visiting destinations such as Tangier in Morocco and Gibraltar before returning to Palma de Mallorca.
